Arlene L. Carabateas

Troy- Arlene Lois Carabateas, 62, of Troy, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026.

Arlene was born on December 29, 1963, to the late Clarissa (Dedrick) and Philip M. Carabateas.

She was a graduate of Maple Hill High School, Class of 1982, and later attended Hudson Valley Community College. Arlene enjoyed gardening, cooking, and listening to music. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved cat, Charlie.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Carabateas-Shook, and was predeceased by her sister, Laura Carabateas.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to David Krakat for all of his care and kindness shown to Arlene.

The family will celebrate Arlene's life in a special way privately.
