Bradford Miteen

Bradford Miteen, 59, of Valatie passed away on Nov. 14, 2022 at home. Born in Mio, Michigan he was the son of John and the late Della Miteen. Bardford was a train enthusiast who especially enjoyed steam engines and how they worked. He was a collector of guns and enjoyed good bourbon and barbecue. Bradford was a mechanic by trade working for several places over the years including his last job with the Town of Chatham Highway Department. He was quick witted and was known to play a joke or insert a wise crack at the perfect time.

In addition to his father he is survived by his wife Judy Miteen; sons, Travis Miteen and Anthony Hepler; step-sons, Ryan Patrick Scheller and Alex David Scheller; brother Carl (Julie) Miteen; grandchildren, Myla, Elaine, Claire, and Jameson Mitten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on December 10, 2022 from 12-4 p.m. at the Nassau Fire House, 26 Chatham St. Nassau, NY 12123.
