Carol A. Quinn

Nassau- Carol Ann Quinn, age 80, died peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Glendon Bombard and Henrietta Baum Bombard, and the wife of William Quinn for 58 years.

Raised in Albany, Carol was a graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School, Class of 1963, before attending beauty school. She moved to Nassau in 1977 to start a family. Carol was employed as a beautician at Our Lady of Hope Residence and Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Homes for many years.

Survivors, in addition to her husband William, include her son William Quinn; her grandchildren Harley Quinn, Skylar (Matthew) Matsoukas, Makenzie Quinn, and Kerrigan Quinn; her best friend Loretta Rossi; and many cousins.

Carol “Miggy” Quinn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and traveling with her family.

Relatives and friends may call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street in Nassau, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
