Charles J. Robertson Jr.

Troy- Charles J. Robertson, Jr., passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York.

Born in Albany, New York, Charles was the son of the late Charles J. Robertson, Sr. and Edith VanAlphen. He carried with him a deep appreciation for the simple and enduring beauty of life, particularly in the outdoors. Whether casting a line into a quiet stream or simply taking in the stillness of nature, Charles found his greatest peace surrounded by the natural world he so dearly loved.

In his later years, Charles resided at The Eliot at Troy Senior Living Center.

Charles was predeceased by his beloved sister, Deborah Robertson. He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha (Theodore Mandigo) Stinson Mandigo; his grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, and Samantha Mandigo; and his sisters, Tina (Kelly) Kozloski, Dawn (Ken) Croyle, and Heather (Jerry) Warren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Charles' Life will be held at a date and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charles' memory may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204, in honor of his love for animals.
