Daniel J. LaPoint Jr., 66, of Nassau passed away January 18, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Daniel J. Sr. and Marion (Muller) LaPoint. Daniel was a family man who enjoyed his retirement. Before her passing Daniel was a great help in being the primary care giver for his mother Marion.

Daniel is survived by his; brothers, Edward, Barry (Linda) and Thomas LaPoint; sisters, Marion LaPoint and Linda (George) Luft, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time. A Memorial Mass will be held in the spring at St. Mary's Church in Nassau followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
