Danielle Hilton

Castleton- Danielle E. Hilton, 37, of Castleton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Albany Medical Center after a long illness.

Born in Troy, NY, Danielle was the beloved daughter of Barbara A. and Robert R. Hilton. She was a graduate of Columbia High School.

Throughout her life, Danielle worked in various roles, as a waitress at Tom's Diner and as a clerk at Hess, Walmart, and Dunkin' Donuts. Known for her creativity and artistic spirit, Danielle had a deep love for writing poetry, painting, singing, and music. Danielle particularly loved Nickel Creek and Good Charlotte. She also enjoyed crafting-especially using duct tape-and drawing. Prior to her accident, she was active and adventurous, enjoying swimming, cycling, and hiking.

Danielle was predeceased by her brother, Robert D. Hilton; her grandmother, Mary Ann Hatch; and her grandfather, Ernest Bateman.

She is survived by her loving parents, Barbara A. and Robert R. Hilton; her brother, Joshua Hilton and his fiancée Karley Malark; and her cherished nieces, Madison Rose Marie Brown and Jolene Lee Hilton.

Danielle's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the East Nassau Cemetery, Garfield Rd. East Nassau.
