David Turnquist

Nassau- David R. Turnquist, 75, of Nassau passed away Sunday, October 13, at Albany Medical Center. Dave was born in Albany to the late Catherine (Moran) and David A. Turnquist. He was the proprietor of North Pearl St. Auto in Albany and worked for Chuck Scott Auto. Dave enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and racing at Lebanon Valley. He was a life member of the Nassau Sportsman's Club.

In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his brother, Edward "Buster" Turnquist. He is survived by his children, Donald (Annie) Turnquist and Rebecca (Jim) Sullivan; and former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Lobdell. He is also survived by his grandson, Zachary Turnquist.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dave's family on Monday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123. A graveside service will take place following the visitation period, at 12:30 p.m., at St. Mary's Cemetery, Route 203 Nassau, NY 12123.
