East Nassau- Dolores M. "Dolly" Sears, a lifelong resident of Tsatsawassa Lake, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush.

Born on December 13, 1929, Dolly was the daughter of the late Floyd L. Vincent and Alice P. (Phillips) Vincent. She spent her entire life on Tsatsawassa Lake, a place that was truly home and where she made nearly a century of memories with family, friends, and neighbors.

Dolly was a special lady whose warm smile and encouraging nature endeared her to so many. She had a way of making those around her feel welcome and cared for and was rarely seen without a smile on her face. Above all else, she loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth R. Sears; and her daughter, Robin Sears.

She is survived by her children, Ron (Barb) Sears, Bonnie (Richard) Peets, Jill Begni, Amy (Gary Wilker) Sears, and Beth Berner. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were a tremendous source of pride and joy throughout her life.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the East Nassau Rural Cemetery, Garfield Rd. East Nassau, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolly's memory to the East Nassau Rural Cemetery, c/o Wendy Briggs, 8 Short St. Castleton, NY 12033.
