Donna Butt

Donna Butt passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush, NY.

Donna was born May 31, 1955, in Warner Robins, GA. She is survived by her loving daughter Chasity (Dan) Burl; granddaughter, Alyssa Burl; grandson, Kyle Burl; mother, Helen Daniels; brother, Kevin Coon; sisters, Kim (John) Gallo and Angele N. Coon (John Willett); ex-husbands, Rick Belcher and Steve Butt who remained close to her; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was predeceased by her father, Roland Coon, and stepfather, Chet Daniels, as well as other cherished loved ones.

Donna lived in Dutchess County most of her life and is well loved by so many. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Donna worked at Bard College for many years. Some of her fondest memories are of the people she met and formed friendships with there.

Donna will be remembered for her immense love for her family and friends, her beautiful kind heart, and her ability to ROCK her bright red or purple lipstick, long eyelashes, and blonde wigs.

A celebration of life will be held for Donna on a date to be determined.
