Doris Place

Doris M. Place of Nassau passed away December 22, 2012 in Melbourne, FL. Doris was born in Bolton Landing and had lived in Nassau since 1966. She loved spending time with family, her garden, her dogs and hummingbirds. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence R. Place, a grandson Robert A. Place and a great grandson Dustin Place. Survivors include her sons Robert L. Place of New Palm Bay, FL and Kenneth R. Place of Ormond Beach, FL, a daughter Joan Marie Reckner of Nassau, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to call at The Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau Saturday morning from 9-10. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
