East Nassau- Earl B. Hammell, IV, 69 of East Nassau, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, after a long journey with cancer. Earl was born in Point Pleasant, NJ. He was the son of Doris Nagel and his stepfather, Walter Nagel. Earl retired from the Town of Nassau Highway Department and the Port of Albany.
Earl is survived by his two daughters, Angela Reidy and Rachal (Charles) Hammell; his sisters, Sandy (James) Bott, Teresa (James) Layton, Dawn (Peter) Zoller; his brothers, Michael (Donna), Bill (Peg), Kenneth, and Bruce (Mary Sue) Hammell; his grandaughter, Lola; and his grandson's, Clayton Jr., Talan, Bentley, and Logan; and many nieces and nephews.
At Earl's request, there will be no services.
