Edward Haley

September 14, 1929 — July 31, 2014

Edward J. Haley Jr., 84, of Mary Esther FL formerly of Castleton passed away on July 31, 2014. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Edward Sr. and Frances (Welz) Haley. Ed served our country as a forward observer in the Army during the Korean war. Mr. Haley drove for Eazor Trucking for many years and was self employed Master Electrician as well as former member of the Schodack Valley Fire Company. Ed also was a firearm safety instructor for the NRA.

Ed is survived by; his wife Catherine Haley, sons, Michael S. Haley of Clifton Park and William Jensen, daughters, Colleen Gardner of Kingston, Maureen Van Deusen of Catskill, Shannon Haley of Castleton and Kathleen Colvin of Castleton, brother David W. Haley of Ft. Myers FL, sister, Catherine Bombard of Hampton Manor, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Stephen Haley, brother, Robert Haley, sisters, Dolores Frumkin, Barbara McDermott, and Joan Reisenger.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Thursday August 7th at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday August 6th from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
