Helen Bates

Helen Bailey Bates, 83, of Nassau N.Y. passed away at her home on March 18, 2014. Born in Lebanon Springs N.Y. to the late Kenneth Sr. and Annie (Overlock) Bailey. She was the wife of the late Roderick Bates Sr. and was a lifelong area resident. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Roderick Bates Jr. and Bruce Bates Sr., daughter, Roxann Farrell, grandchildren, Starlete, Sonya, and Bruce Bates Jr., and Marcella and Joshua Saunders. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Gavin, Darian and Dominic. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
