Jacqueline M. Villeneuve

East Schodack- Jacqueline M. Villeneuve died, at the age of 86, peacefully in her home on October 19, 2025. Jacqueline was born in Cohoes on May 14, 1939, and was a beloved daughter to the late William and Catherine Malo.

She was predeceased by all of her siblings and her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth Villeneuve, Sr. She retired from the East Greenbush Central School District after 20 years of dedicated service. Jackie and Ken enjoyed traveling in their motor home all over the country. The New Jersey Shore was one of their favorite places, along with their winter condo on the shoreline of Myrtle Beach, SC. She had fond memories of camping with her family and spending time at her son’s cabin in the Adirondacks, where she loved doing puzzles on the porch, playing cards and board games, and sitting around the campfire sipping blackberry wine. She also loved going to the casinos, especially the Akwesasne Casino.

Jackie is survived by her children, Kenneth J. Villeneuve, Jr. and his wife Susan Chasney of Nassau, Michael Villeneuve and his wife Patricia of Nassau, Donna LaBounty and her husband Ronnie of Crown Point, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Deborah Burris, Marybeth Greene, Cassandra Crosier, Abby Villeneuve, Christopher LaBounty, and Ian LaBounty, as well as 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jackie’s family prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Route 203 Nassau, NY.
