Jean E. Lansley

Nassau- Jean Eileen Lansley of Nassau, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush.

Jean was born on June 15, 1931, in Adams, Massachusetts, to the late Walter and Mildred Brown. She spent much of her life in Nassau, where she worked in several local roles, including as a Cafeteria Monitor at Donald P. Sutherland School, a Pen Assembler at Speedy Sales, and a Clerk at Delson's.

Jean took great pride in being a homemaker and found joy in crafts, caring for her home, and especially in the companionship of her beloved dogs.

In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Austin Lansley; and her sister, Barbara Cardozo.

She is survived by her loving children: Christine (Jack) Kochem of Schenectady, Arlene (Kenneth) Kincaid of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and Debra (Rick) Ramsay of Egremont, Massachusetts; and her sister, Judy Bingham. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Services will be held in the spring of 2026 at Garfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY.
