Nassau- Jeannette A. "Jan" Villeneuve passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 after a short illness. She was born in Albany on July 25, 1935 to the late Wally and Angelina LaMountain. Jan devoted her life to her family and found great joy in caring for her home and tending to her many gardens. Her loved ones find comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her husband, William, who passed away in 2013.
She is survived by her children, Bruce (late Kathleen), Steve (Carol), and Jeanne (Edmund) Pangburn, grandchildren, Bruce (Lindsay) Villeneuve, Allison (William) Beyer, Emily and Jake Villeneuve, and Ashley, Kyle and Adam Pangburn, and great grandchildren Carmen Beyer and Sammy Villeneuve.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jan's family on Thursday, May 8, 2025, 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123.
A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with interment following at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau.
