Karen G. Russo

Karen Greeney Russo, 81, passed away at her home in Nassau, NY on February 12, 2026. She was born in Cambridge, NY, daughter of Alice Bryant Greeney and Harold F. Greeney, Sr. Her family moved to Beaver Falls when she was young and that's where she spent an idyllic childhood and she always considered that her home.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Harold F. Greeney, Jr. and Raymond Greeney. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leo Russo; her children, Scott Russo, Trina Straub, Leandro Russo, Melynda Matheke, Michael Russo; her 8 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Karen loved gardening, bird watching, painting and crafting, and playing cards. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, wife, and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.

The family will celebrate Karen's life privately.
