Nassau- Paul Allan Waldron passed away on April 24, 2026, at Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. He was 69 years old.
Born in Schenectady on December 30, 1956, Paul was the son of the late Wesley K. Waldron and Ruth E. (Wheeler) Waldron. A graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, he went on to further his education at SUNY Morrisville, R.I.T., and Union College.
On July 22, 1989, Paul married the love of his life, Ann Marie (Van Deusen) Waldron, in Scotia, New York.
Paul dedicated over 30 years of his professional life as a computer programmer and systems analyst, serving both the New York State Department of Social Services and the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance.
Outside of his career, Paul found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He was an avid collector of books, music, authors’ and artists’ signatures, and toys. He loved reading and listening to music, especially the sounds of Pink Floyd, Queen, and Styx, and could often be found enjoying his favorite television programs.
Paul was known for his wonderful sense of humor. Those fortunate enough to share in it understood what a true gift it was. He brought laughter, light, and perspective to those around him in a way that was uniquely his own.
Above all, Paul was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He provided for his family with unwavering dedication and was a steady, warm, and compassionate presence in their lives. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be missed beyond measure.
Most of all, Paul was an honorable man.
In addition to his wife, Ann Marie, Paul is survived by his step daughters, Heather Kirkland Connors (Terry Connors) of Auburn, GA and April Kirkland Albertson (Timothy Albertson) of Niverville; his grandchildren, Breanna Albertson and Duncan Connors; his siblings, Cathy Beyer (Tim Beyer) of Griswold, CT, Craig Waldron (Jane Seguin) of Plattsburgh, and Nancy Waldron of Scotia.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Paul’s family from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123.
