Raymond J. Luther, 81, of Nassau passed away on Jan. 18, 2016 at his home. Mr. Luther was a graduate of Vincentian, class of 1953, a reservist in the United States Naval Reserve from 1950 to 1956 and was employed by a variety of contractors in the road construction industry. Raymond is survived by his beloved siblings; Marie and Bill Miller both of Glen Lake NY, son, Colen Luther, daughter, Amy Lovegrove as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and close friends. He was predeceased by his sister Laurie Tuohey. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Thursday Jan. 21 at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday Jan. 20 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Interment will immediately follow the service in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
