Robert Law

Robert "Bert" Law, 55, of Ghent passed away at Whittier Nursing and Rehab. on March 28, 2018. Born in Troy he was the son of the late Ellouise Law. Bert was a longtime ironworker, enjoyed classic rock and working to complete his many puzzles. Bert was predeceased by his loving companion Kathleen Viet and his sister Patricia Coons. He is survived by his brothers, Terrance Law, Michael (Minni) McCarty, Mark McCarty, and Matthew (Tracy) McCarty; sisters, Michelle (Fred) Guilefuss and Louann Crownover; uncle, Raymond "Mosey" Lockrow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Whittier Nursing and Rehab. for their care and compassion shown to Bert. Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Wednesday, April 4th at 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4-7pm.
