Robert Shields

Robert P. Shields, 60, of East Nassau, a Veteran of 10 years in the U.S. Navy, went home to the Lord after a short illness.

Survived by his loving wife Susan Delaney-Shields. Also survived by his sister Patricia LaRose (Tom); brothers, David (Mary), Danny (Mary), and Gary (Rod). He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Elizabeth, and his brother Howard Shields.

Stepfather to Stephen (Cori), Ryan (Carrie), and Kevin Lownsbury. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends and his companions Joey and Shelby.

Services will be held at Immanuel Church, 1955 Ferndale Rd Castleton, NY 12033, Saturday November 21, 2015 from 2pm-3pm, followed by a memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society in Menands. Online condolences may be offered at Mooneyfuneralhome.com
