Roy R. Lo Presti, 62, died June 9, 2011 at Tampa General Hospital. Roy was born in Albany, was raised in Rensselaer, and had lived in Nassau for thirty years before moving to Florida in 1997. Prior to moving to Florida he had worked for Watkins Spring Co. in Albany. After his move to Florida he worked for Hydraulics Equipment and for the last ten years for Imanna Lab in Rockledge FL.

Roy is survived by his loving wife Colleen (Mahar) Lo Presti; son, Joseph E. Lo Presti of Nassau, daughters, Tina M. Lo Presti of Nassau and Lisa M. Lo Presti of W. Lebanon, sisters, Mary Hamilton of Syracuse, Patricia Crowley of Colonie, and Barbara Sheldon of Rensselaer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlyn, Tyler, and Tiffany. Roy was predeceased by his parents Philip Sr. and Edith (Long) Lo Presti as well as his brother Philip Lo Presti.

Funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Friday, June 17 at 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4:00-7:00pm.
