Stasia Brehm

Stasia Brehm, 90, of Schodack passed away on March 27, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Schodack she was the daughter of the late Christy and Anna Kolodich. A lifelong resident of Schodack Stasia was very devoted to her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stasia was active in her church and was a member of the Chandler-Young VFW Post 8162 Ladies Auxilliary. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Stasia was predeceased by her husband Edwin Brehm; son, Clifford Brehm; brother, John Kolodich; sisters, Kathryn Teal, Pauline Church and Mary Rickert. She is survived by her daughter in law Deborah Brehm; brother in law George (Rose) Brehm; grandchildren, Edward Brehm, Paul (Heather) Brehm, Wendy (Peter) Bertram, Carolyn (Derek) Gifford and Stephanie (Shane) Swartz; great grandchildren, Madelyne, Landon, Ira, Anna, Anastasia, Jackson, and Kennedy. She is also survived by her grand-dog Koda. All are invited to attend a funeral service from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Thursday, March 31, at 3:30PM. There will be no calling hours. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, East Schodack.
