Nassau-Thomas L. Colligan, 62, of Nassau died suddenly on Friday May 10 at his residence. Born in Trenton NJ he was the son of the late Robert E. and Helen Louise Currier Colligan.
Before retiring Mr. Colligan was employed by Puro-Clean in North Chatham as a fire and water restoration technician. He was a past chief and life member of the Nassau Fire Department. He was a former member of the Nassau Ambulance. Tom was dedicated to the volunteer fire service and enjoyed every aspect of the fire service and also loved working in his yard.
Tom is survived by four daughters; Sarah and Adaline Colligan, Cerridwyn Preuss and Beth Ann McIlvaine; four sisters; Irene Batchelder, Michelle Colligan, Patricia Flint and Deborah VanValkenburgh(Gary); three grandchildren David, Sean and Ashley; and his former wife Jennifer Pruden. Thomas was predeceased by two brothers Robert and Harold Colligan.
Funeral from the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau on Wednesday May 15 at 11am.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home, Tuesday May 14 from 4-8pm. Interment in Nassau Cemetery.
