Virginia Miller

Castleton - Virginia Miller passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Virginia was born on August 24, 1947, in Anchorage, Alaska, to the late Robert Mann and Verlee Peterson. She spent her formative years in Alaska before life took her to Washington and Arizona. In 1998, Virginia moved to the Capital Region and made her home in Castleton.

Virginia found her greatest happiness in the people and things she loved most. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and especially loved the companionship of her beloved dog, Twinkie. Those who knew Virginia also knew of her love for chocolate, which was always sure to bring a smile to her face.

Above all, Virginia treasured the people in her life. The time spent surrounded by family and friends brought her the greatest joy, and the memories they created together will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Zachery Seyerlein.

She is survived by her daughters, Christina (Ed) Seyerlein and Amy Van Ess; her grandchildren, Annmarie (Conrad) Dempsey, Corey Houston, Kendra (Ed) Greenway, William Seyerlein, Chris Houston, and Abigail Seyerlein; her great-grandchildren, Poppy Dempsey, Capri Seyerlein, Maizie Houston, and Bernard Flint; her siblings, Bob, Gloria, and Cathi; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will take place at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at East Nassau Rural Cemetery, Garfield Rd. East Nassau, NY 12062.

A Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Immanuel Church, 274 Columbia Tpke. Rensselaer, NY 12144.
